Your swimmer’s journey with Redlands Swim Club starts here
First, before you join Redlands Swim Club: If your child is currently in a Junior or Development Squad, please speak with your child’s coach or the Head Coach before joining RSC. That way, we can make sure the squad placement and membership type are right for your swimmer.
Ready to step into the Redlands tradition and join generations of confident young swimmers? Join Redlands Swim Club now.

Step 1: Choose your starting point
A. New to RSC?
Call Belgravia Leisure, the operator of Cleveland Aquatic Centre, on (07) 3822 2723 to arrange an assessment.
- Just finished Learn to Swim? Belgravia will direct you to join a Junior Squad session for an assessment (3.30 pm Tuesdays & Thursdays).
- Already have squad or competition experience? Belgravia will arrange a bespoke assessment at a convenient time for you and the Head Coach.
After the assessment:
(i) Arrange a squad membership with the friendly front desk staff at Cleveland Aquatic Centre (this is your weekly Training Fee), and
(ii) Then join Redlands Swim Club by purchasing annual membership on Swim Central (see below)
B. Transferring from another club
Have you just moved to the Redlands, but your child has already been racing with another swim club? Transferring to us is easy, and we’d love the opportunity to welcome your swimmer into our community.
So, if you already have a Swim Central account:
- Join Redlands Swim Club by purchasing an annual membership via Store (see below for types of memberships) for the relevant child.
- After purchase, go into your child’s profile, expand Memberships menu. There is a Transfer button to complete the process.
Note that your weekly squad fee must be arranged separately with Cleveland Aquatic Centre.
Which membership?
On Swim Central, to join Redlands Swim Club we offer 3 main types of memberships for swimmers:
| Membership | Best for | Can compete in |
| Recreational Swimmer | Swimmers who want to train with the club but not race at sanctioned external meets | Club nights only |
| Junior Swimmer | Swimmers aged 9 & under who want to race at sanctioned external meets | Club nights and Regional meets |
| Competitive Swimmer | Swimmers aged 9 & over in competitive or development squads | Club, Regional, State, Interstate and National meets |
Not sure which is right? To join Redlands Swim Club, check with your child’s coach or our helpful Club Registrar. Also, swimmers turning 10 before the QLD Sprint Championships will need a Competitive membership if they want to race there.
Swim Central account
If you do not have an account with Swim Central, to join Redlands Swim Club please create one:
- Create a profile for you as the parent/guardian, then a profile for each child.
- Next, purchase an annual membership to RSC. Because age and competition level decide which membership applies, check the table below.
- Before you check out, claim your $200 Play On voucher, because the code goes into your Swim Central basket. Please see our page Play On Sports Vouchers for more information on how to apply.
Step 2 After you join Redlands Swim Club
Finally, email our Registrar and Secretary to confirm your new membership. Then, you’ll then receive your Welcome Pack (including your complimentary RSC cap and welcome letter) shortly after joining.
However, as we are a volunteer‑run club, please feel free to follow up if you have not received the swim cap within a week.
