Swimwear
Swimwear worn at training, competitions, and external venues must be appropriate, practical, and modest. Anything excessively revealing isn’t permitted. This helps us maintain a safe, respectful and inclusive environment and ensures swimmers represent themselves and the Club professionally.
Club Swim Cap
All swimmers must wear the official Redlands swim cap during squad training, competitions, and at external venues unless coaches advise otherwise. The cap assists with swimmer identification, promotes team unity, and reflects the standards and values of the Club.
🤝 Behaviour Expectations
We expect all swimmers, coaches, parents and volunteers to contribute to a positive, respectful and inclusive environment at training and meets.
Swimmers
- Respect coaches, officials, volunteers and teammates
- Follow coaching and safety instructions
- Show good sportsmanship
- No bullying, harassment or discrimination (including online)
- Represent the Club with pride
Parents & Spectators
- Encourage participation for enjoyment
- Support swimmers, coaches and volunteers
- Avoid criticism or comparisons
- Raise concerns calmly through the correct channels
- Parents are expected to assist with timekeeping during meets
Coaches & Volunteers
- Model positive behaviour
- Prioritise swimmer safety and wellbeing
- Maintain professional boundaries
- Hold required qualifications (including Blue Card)
