HOW TO JOIN REDLANDS SWIM CLUB

Ready to step into the Redlands tradition and join generations of confident young swimmers?

1. New to RSC

Please call Belgravia Leisure, the operator of Cleveland Aquatic Centre (CAC), on (07) 3822 2723 to arrange an assessment.

  • If your child has just completed their final Learn to Swim level, they will direct you to join a Junior Squad session for an assessment (assessments are held at 3.30 pm Tuesdays & Thursdays).
  • If your child already has squad or competition training experience, Belgravia Leisure will help arrange a bespoke assessment at a convenient time for you and the coach.

After the assessment: if you are happy to join and do not have an account with Swim Central, please create one.

  • Create a profile for you as the parent/guardian, and a profile for each child.
  • Purchase an annual membership to RSC (the competitive one is what we recommend for children keen on racing).
  • The Queensland government provides a $200 voucher once a year to subsidise sports activities for school age children. Please see Play On! Sports Vouchers to apply, then use the voucher code in your Swim Central shopping basket.

2. Transferring from another club

If you already have a Swim Central account

  • Purchase a membership with RSC via Store, find Redlands Swim Club and select the relevant child.
  • After purchase, go into your child’s profile, expand Memberships menu. There is a Transfer button to complete the process.

After purchasing a membership

Email our Registrar and Secretary to confirm your new membership. You’ll receive your Welcome Pack (including your complimentary RSC cap and welcome letter) shortly after joining. As we are a volunteer‑run club, please feel free to follow up if it hasn’t arrived within a week.
